This is where they cook all the meat. That is just the meat area for cooking. Like I said, they mean business.
They use all of the cow when they butcher it. Even to make seats for a table.

Okay, on the entrance they are going through, there is a ring hanging. It is maybe an inch wide and they gallop full speed with a pencil looking thing and get the ring on the pencil. If they get it without dropping it, they get to get a kiss from a girl. :)

It is was a fun day! We learned so much of the culture here. It was a fun experience and really relaxing!

The celebration!

The Celebration of Saturday was amazing. There were two services, one in the morning and one in the afternoon. Both services were awesome and I will never forget it.


They opened the service with a band marching in and playing the Argentine National Anthem. It was sweet!

Then they brought in the 10 flags of South America dedicating this building to the South American region. They also included the Christian flag. (I didn't know that there was such a thing as the Christian flag)

Both services it was packed out. Buses drove around and picked up anyone who wanted to go. We had over 600 people (I'm guessing, there wasn't a final count) and the people stayed for a picnic and stayed for the afternoon service. It was awesome!

Throughout the service the choir sang a couple of songs. It was fun.

The message was amazing. I was starting to get a little bored sitting and hearing translation and trying to follow, and then all of the sudden he talks about how the youth are the future to the church. The young people are going to be doing the future projects like the one we are in. We are the ones with the vision. He asked if any of the youth/young people wanted to give God their lives. Dedicate their lives to what God has planned for their lives. So I walked up. I was up there praying and all of a sudden, I break down and start crying. I feel this overwhelming peace throughout my body. It was amazing.Hannah and Christina watching the service.

This day was one of the most memorable days of the trip. It was life changing for me. I will have all of the other family members put down stuff... so yeah! Love you!

The Finishing touches

The final week, we finished the convention center, we went to local churches to evangelize, and we watched God work in amazing ways. We went to a church where all of the church plants gathered, where the choir sang, and the messages and speakers were able to be on the radio. Crazy! During the community service projects at the churches, I met a family. Their house needed a new roof (which we fixed). It was a three bedroom house and the family consisted of 2 parents and 10 kids. I got to hang out with them a little, and man, my heart pours out to them! They are so amazingly cute, and they put up with my poor spanish and we connected instantly. Here is a picture of some of the family and the church we went to! :)

The finishing touches of the convention center was more than just the building finishing. God showed me that even though there were people of different cultures, languages, and lifestyles, we were all doing God's work as children of God. My outlook on how big God is, just shifted from an inch to a mile! It was so encouraging to see different people work together for one mission. God's mission. It was amazing. I have learned so much!
